Christopher Robin starring Ewan McGregor focuses on Christopher from the Winnie the Pooh books and cartoons as an adult. However, they briefly go through his childhood to set the tone for the story. He has gone to boarding school after saying goodbye to Pooh and his friends and after that fought in the war. Christopher Robin is now grown and married and has a daughter named Madeline. He has forgotten about Pooh and the Hundred Acre Woods. He is focused on his job at a luggage company and expects his daughter to busy herself with school. He has forgotten what it is like to have fun. His family has gone to his childhood cottage for vacation while he stayed home to work. His neighbor continues to ask him over for a game night, and the answer is always no. He is overworked but sees work as coming before anything else. Madeline is sad she doesn't get to spend more time with her dad.

Winnie the Pooh has always been one of my favorite childhood stories. I thoroughly enjoyed this new Pooh adventure and reliving the classic stories. I enjoyed the new take on Pooh yet hearing the familiar lines and personalities. It's a must see for everyone whether you enjoyed Pooh as a child or not. This is a movie I will have to own someday.
